Since 2015, Tulsa’s Great Raft Race has brought thousands of people to the banks of the Arkansas River for a one-of-a-kind celebration of creativity, community, and water recreation. From duct-taped masterpieces to corporate flotillas, the race became a signature summer tradition and a symbol of what’s possible when Tulsa comes together.

Now, after ten unforgettable years, we’re officially sunsetting the traditional Labor Day long raft race. But this isn’t an ending, it’s a milestone. A moment to celebrate a mission fulfilled.

We set out to reconnect Tulsa with its river, and we succeeded. Zink Lake is open. Whitewater flumes are flowing. The riverfront is more vibrant than ever. Tulsa’s Great Raft Race helped pave the way, and now it’s time to honor everything we’ve built together.

While there will be no Raft Race or Whitewater event in 2025, we’re leaving the door open to future experiences that will continue to activate the river and inspire the next generation of adventure seekers.

But first, we celebrate.

Join us for a casual, come-and-go celebration filled with food trucks, drinks, giveaways, river fun and one final sunset group photo.

Whether you paddled, planned, sponsored, or cheered from the shore, you are all part of this story and all are welcome. Let’s gather one more time to toast the legacy of the race and the future of river recreation in Tulsa.
